CREATE PSYCHOLOGY NQ · TOWNSVILLE & ONLINE
Support for suicidal thoughts
You can talk openly about suicidal thoughts and the distress behind them. This page explains planned psychological support and where to get immediate help.
Talking about what you are going through
You do not need to hide suicidal thoughts from your psychologist or find the perfect words to describe them. An appointment offers space to talk openly about what has been happening and to be heard without judgement. You can start wherever feels possible, even if talking about it feels difficult. Together, we can discuss your current safety and the support you need.
Planning appropriate support
Your psychologist can explore your concerns and discuss appropriate next steps. This may include a safety plan, involvement from your GP or other services, and support for the difficulties contributing to your distress. The type of care needed depends on your circumstances and current risk.
Appointments and urgent help
Create Psychology NQ offers scheduled appointments. It is not an emergency or round-the-clock crisis service. The enquiry form and admin email are not monitored continuously, so do not wait for a reply if you need help now.
Making an appointment enquiry
For a planned appointment, contact admin to discuss availability and access. Keep your online enquiry brief; please do not send detailed clinical information or sensitive documents through the form.
